Neo wakes up one morning and gets plugged into the Matrix for a mission. Now, it turns out that for some reason he connected to the wrong server, sending him into the remnant of the .hack World. He cannot disconnect from it because Morgana now needs him for whatever her diabolical plan is (only saw //SIGN, never played any of the games). Neo still retains his One powers, but will he manage to defeat the villain of the .hack series?
Morgana uses the same thing she used on Tsukasa, so Neo cannot log out without defeating her.

Well, I admit I haven't seen Morgana in //Signs yet, so I don't nknow her power specifically. However, I have seen the general capabilities of other .hack villains, well, they just aren't up to snuff.
