Arcanum is by far the most entertaining steampunk videogame. I really need to read 1889, though.

Heh, I was always partial to the old Chaos Engine on the Amiga.

Thief: The Dark Project has been my only experience with it so far. But I really liked that world.

If that could be considered Steampunk, then yes. It kicks ass.

Final Fantasy 3, I think.

Some of the naval aspects of Warhammer 40k are decidely "Steampunk". It makes for a strange mix.

Some of the Final Fantasies, like FF9. Arcanum was good, shitty graphics though.

Arcanum's graphics fall firmly into the "good enough for the game". I don't notice Arcanum's "bad" graphics because the game is good enough to compensate for it.

Castle Falkenstain, though I tend not use heavily the Steampunk part. Very well done RPG.

Computerwise, I like Arcanum.

Hrm, you know I never thought of FF9 as steampunk in places. It was always kind of too new looking and not gritty enough, something that I don't usually associate with steampunk. For me, FF3 was always the steampunk game of the family.

(FF1 being middle ages, FF2 being middle ages with some machines like the airships, FF3 being steampunk, FF7 being gritty modern-ish with the occasional future tech, FF8 being shiny future tech with some throwback, now that I think about it FF9 being steampunk as done by microsoft, and FF10 being fallen future tech).
