Hitler vs. the Pope

Post by Bob McDob »

Hitler, 1917 WWI version, vs. Pope John Paul II in 1944, when he was with the Polish Resistance and before he joined the clergy. Fight takes place on the Bismarck.

My money's on the pope, I'll bet he's better at close combat than Hitler is.

I cannot define how wrong this is.

If we include the then current pope, then Pius XII could double team with Hitler...

Mr. Wojtyla pulls out a gas grenade, and Hitler, whimpering, swan-dives off the Kreigsmarine flagship.

I think even the pope, old as he is now, would win. I mean, after taking one look at Hitler, he's going to start some serious smiting. If you thought Yoda was impressive, watch as the Pope pulls out a machine gun and starts inching towards Hitler on his cane:

"Hasta la Vista, Hitley!" [sic]

Hitler fires an energy blast at the Pope, but John raises his staff in time to deflect it with a holy force-field. The Pope wins.

Given 1944 Pope's unholy (no pun intended) hatred of Hitler, he's going to be very tough to defeat.

I don't know how big the Pope was at the time, but Hitler was a freggin scrawny ass midget. I'm betting the Pope had some size on him. Also, the Pope was probably smarter...

Hitler served for years on the western front and won the Iron Cross first class, which for an enlisted man was no mean feat.

I don't know who would win such a fight, but don't make the mistake of thinking that Hitler's a coward or a weakling. If he was, he wouldn't have survived 4 years in France during WW1.

Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier
