Freddy vs Akasha

Post by Shrykull »

Yes, from Queen of the Damned, can make humans combust like in the movie, or just vampires?

Does Akasha Sleep?

Supernatural Taisen - "[This Story] is essentially "Wouldn't it be awesome if this happened?" Followed by explosions."

Reviewing movies is a lot like Paleontology: The Evidence is there...but no one seems to agree upon it.

"God! Are you so bored that you enjoy seeing us humans suffer?! Why can't you let this poor man live happily with his son! What kind of God are you, crushing us like ants?!" - Kyoami, Ran

Not sure, she's a vampire so maybe she does, People said Jason didn't sleep either, until the traquilizers were used on him.

The novel Akasha?

IIRC, she could outpace the dawn and stay awake. And her combustion trick was limited to vampires, but not the uber old and powerful ones.

She could survive exposure to sunlight, which killed off the younger vampires carrying her blood. She just got a tan...

I was thinking the Queen of the Damned movie, is Akasha a novelization of it, or just center around her? If she's the first vampire, how did she come to exist?

If she sleeps, and she must at some point, she gets r0xx0red.
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

The Vampire Lestat, though told mainly from the viewpoint of Lestat does go into how vampires came to be. Akasha is either the first or the second, the novel never states for sure - but the reader can assume that she was the first despite the lack of detail in that regard.

But to answer the original intent of the thread: To call this fight a draw is an understatement. Not for lack of trying, but I don't think either entity could kill the other - permanently.

It did go into detail about how vampires came to exist? When Akasha was a statue she wasn't always a statue she was alive and kicking before that.

Maybe I got the wrong book, then. I suppose I meant Queen of the Damned. I mean, it makes more sense for the story to appear interwoven in that book than in Lestat.
