This is a really quick and actually quite a stupid question concerning Inuyasha. I'm pretty sure that I already know the answer, but I wanted to be 100 per-cent sure and have it answered by someone who definately knows.

Okay, here goes:

What gender is Shippo?

I've asked myself the same question about InuYasha after I felt the demon strangely attractive - imagine my surprise when I found out it was male.

Based on a quick Google image search I'd say this Shippo is a female.

Inuyasha wouldn't let him bathe with Koguma in one episode because of it..

Shippo is a 4 year old male use takes advantages of his by being close to the women then Inu Yasha and especially Miroku(sp) would like.

But last night's episode in Adult Swim had Shippo call Inu Yasha its boyfriend.
"Right now we can tell you a report was filed by the family of a 12 year old boy yesterday afternoon alleging Mr. Michael Jackson of criminal activity. A search warrant has been filed and that search is currently taking place. Mr. Jackson has not been charged with any crime. We cannot specifically address the content of the police report as it is confidential information at the present time, however, we can confirm that Mr. Jackson forced the boy to listen to the Howard Stern show and watch the movie Private Parts over and over again."

No, IIRC, what happened was that Kaogi, the WolfDemon, was insulting InuYasha, and Shippo came to his defense. Kaogi smirked and asked InuYasha if this was his boyfriend.

But Shippo is a little boy-fox, about 4-6 yrs old.

yup and them Kitsunes are all trickster demons, so that would make the gender prefrence when he gets old enough for one, a rather moot point.
