Just a completely random thought: the cast of CSI gets caught up in the growing battle between Freddy and Jason.
For purposes of this scenario: this takes place in Las Vegas, as Freddy--before being snubbed in his home town, managed to get a minor toehold in Las Vegas and is using Jason to jumpstart his life in Las Vegas.
