Re: The OotS thread
Wow. Talk about a Critical Hit. That's sending him back at least 4 versions of the rule set.
3.5 -> 3.0 -> 2.SP -> 1 -> Basic. Question is, which revision of Basic did Belkar land in?
2.SP refers to the 'Skills and Powers', 'Combat and Tactics' and other books that were effectively AD&D 2.5
Which reminds me, I haven't finished turing the Critical Hit result tables into 3.5........

I've been asked why I still follow a few of the people I know on Facebook with 'interesting political habits and view points'.
It's so when they comment on or approve of something, I know what pages to block/what not to vote for.

Since they just set up the match as Roy vs. the Dragonkin, I doubt it.Crazedwraith wrote:Wild Mass Guessing: But is the end of this arc going to be Roy killing Belkar in the area?

Re: The OotS thread
There are three days of games. Its a good bet Roy might have to fight... more than once! Especially if he comes off as a crowd favourite after beating Enor.
OK, its not likely. But I did say, wild mass guessing, didn't I?

what kind of euphemisim is "Sneaking Slaves out of the Palace"?

Damn you - now i can't stop picturing Haley and V making out - which also settles Vs gender and sex, due to Haleys "latent bisexuality" - plus, Elan probably wouldn't object - he already said that she "will stay in bed all day".The Yosemite Bear wrote:what kind of euphemisim is "Sneaking Slaves out of the Palace"?

Re: The OotS thread
It wasn't a euphemism in the sense you're thinking. Haley was suggesting they actually sneak out slaves, and belkar was answering as if Haley was just curious about the theoretical.

That was my reading on it too, Chewie, though I realised it was Vaarsuvius answering not Belkar.

Ha, I like the skeletons.
Something I didn't realize it at first, but is more obvious if you look at the top: the whole thing reads as a unit left-to-right, instead of row by row as usual.

This montage should be animated and set to music.

I wonder what spell Durkon just researched in a day? Hopefully that mass disruption spell he talked about at the end of the last 'book'.

Actually it was a spell of mass protection from negative energy. It would make sense; he's consulting with Malak, who is the priest of a Death God and likely knows plenty about such negative energy related magic.Crazedwraith wrote:I wonder what spell Durkon just researched in a day?
