There are people there who argue that Miko was a paragon of virtue and that Belkar is not Chaotic Evil. Yeah, it is pretty much a bunch of kooks.

But the fact that there are arguments happening proves that there are sane people in the mix.

In other news: 643 up, say goodbye to the most boring B plot in the comic.

V really deserved that whole 'actually, we fixed this days ago' thing. Hilarious.

Nope, I've got no clue what you're talking about.

Edit: Just saw the title of 643... awesome.

I might just be misremembering a rare bit of non-stupidity from the forums over there. Spoiler
anyway, it all goes back to how Durkon couldn't really get assistance from Thor in Azure City. Northern god + Southern city = no go. Tiamat is (apparently) a Western god, so V has to go to the Western Continent for Tiamat to have free reign to stomp V's ass. And now V is more or less there.
I don't really think it'll happen though. :(

Nice to know that the cleric got the job done before fixing Belkar.

Check again. They have the thieves guild address and where Haley is staying there.

That was sent after the truce was negotiated

Check again again. Durkon received two sendings, the second one with the address arriving just before he departed from the fleet.

Belkar sees wat u did thar.
Also, what's required for de-Golemizing Roy? It's been a long time... could V do anything (prior to losing the Necromancer, at any rate), or is that strictly cleric stuff?

God, the last half of that strip was pure laugh out loud gold. (Awesome alt-text from the voices too. I'll be sad when we lose them) :).
A nice bit of social commentary there, though that's rather vile of me to say.

At the minimum, a resurrection spell will bring Roy back.

The only question is, do they have to deanimate the golem first (either with a high level disjunction or by beating it down until it stops moving), or will the resurrection spell do that.

Might be rather humourous if they resurect him but his skeleton is still a Golem.

Either a Resurrection or a Wish is needed at this point, though they could just KILL the golem and use the bones as the material component. I wonder where Durkon is.

I loved that "safety" poster on the stairs of the Thieves Guild, it made me smile. Also, nice plug for special book content there Rich. I look forward to seeing the unreasonably complicated rescue of Roy's body.

The great question: V's new alignment has survived the opprobium of hir mate, justified itself to haley, but can it cope with Belkar's approval?

Now the question remains, does Haley change alignment when she goes all "Goth"?

Holy shit, can V withstand not the approval of Belkar but having Belkar look down on V for being too evil?

Also, if you want to drive someone insane, nothing quite like a call service centre to push them over the edge.

Poor V, the only thing worse than selling your soul for ultimate cosmic power is doing so and then not needing it.
