Twilight eclipse
What no one made a thread bashing the new twilight movie that released last night.
So how bad is this one as horrible as the other two?

Don't ask me, I'm not going to waste money on it.
Nitram, slightly high on cough syrup: Do you know you're beautiful?
Me: Nope, that's why I have you around to tell me.
Nitram: You -are- beautiful. Anyone tries to tell you otherwise kill them.

You are asking us to waste our money to see a crappy movie and then further waste our time to tell you how crappy it was?dragon wrote:What no one made a thread bashing the new twilight movie that released last night.

The Fuck?!?!
You will see the tears of time.
Re: Twilight eclipse
Well I'm sure that someone significant other dragged them to see it. Luckily my wife is in Germany and I'm in Fort Sill Okolahmo so she can't drag me to itSapphireFox wrote:You are asking us to waste our money to see a crappy movie and then further waste our time to tell you how crappy it was?dragon wrote:What no one made a thread bashing the new twilight movie that released last night.

And I never said waste your money, but I know that there are people on this board that will go see it, maybe not admit it though.

Re: Twilight eclipse
bah appearntly enough people saw it. 30 million in 3 hours.
linkNot only did "Eclipse" have the largest domestic release ever when it opened in 4,408 theaters on June 30, but it's also banked more than $30 million at the box office between midnight and 3 a.m. alone

Wow. I just can't help but wonder how much more money it would have made if she'd ended up with Jacob. :V:
Will whichever unsung hero reports back on this movie please tell me if we'll get to see some nice werewolf violence? I'm looking for something in the "Stay off the moors!" range, but I may even buy a ticket for a nice "Wolfman's got nards!" level or even Underworld.

Re: Twilight eclipse
"largest domestic release ever"? I weep for the state of the world. When will people learn to have some literary or cinematic taste?
Re: Twilight eclipse
If by spineless you mean "want to get laid", then yes, they are.Stark wrote:Heroes are spineless now?
Luckly the person I'm seeing share my tastes, but I share their pain.
Re: Twilight eclipse
Cinematic taste is an opinion. Tween girls obviously have different interests than I do. Good for them.
If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you. If you can't see Chuck Norris, you may be only seconds away from death.
Chuck Norris' chief export is pain.
They once made a Chuck Norris toilet paper, but it wouldn't take shit from anybody.
Chuck Norris played Russian Roulette with a fully loaded revolver.... and won.
Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door.
Chuck Norris once visited the Virgin Islands. They are now the Islands.
Chuck Norris doesn't sleep, he waits.
Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad Chuck Norris has never cried. Ever.

Reading the reviews, apparently it won't give you that. They range from abyssmal to meh combat. We're talking they wrestle in some fake manner...and that's it.Bob the Gunslinger wrote:Wow. I just can't help but wonder how much more money it would have made if she'd ended up with Jacob. :V:

But apparently there is many a bromance stare between the two main actors.

Re: Twilight eclipse
Maybe. The best was a bunch of mates and me were chatting before seeing a movie and one of them mentioned he was forced by his girl at the time to see it and he was ashamed of it. Some random dude parts from his group, comes up pats my friend on the shoulder and tells him he feels his pain and walks away with the rest of his group.Stark wrote:That might be true if you want to fuck 12 year old girls.Spekio wrote:If by spineless you mean "want to get laid", then yes, they are.

As for getting laid through Twilight? LOL, no. I'll be on the couch forcing her to watching that. She has a worse issues then me. I just regard it as a bad chaste romance to make tweens and mothers wet their panties.

I know gorgeous women in their early-mid twenties who love sparkly vampires.
Re: Twilight eclipse
I'll do the same thing for Eclipse that I did for New Moon and Twilight. That is to say, wait for the rifftrax version to hit bittorrent.
Re: Twilight eclipse
... did you just miss the point? There are ALTERNATIVES for non-jailbait. You never have to do anything you don't want to, and blaming others or claiming it's how to 'get sex' is just laughable.Spekio wrote:12 year olds?

I guess you're too scared of 'gorgeous women' to be in the drivers seat.
Re: Twilight eclipse
Sadly, even university students like Twilight.
Thank god I am only forced to hear their incessant chatter about Jacob and Bella and whatever, not have to suffer through it myself.

Most of the professional women in my company love it too. It's actually kind of depressing to find out how utterly juvenile educated, capable women can be.
But hey, I play Transformers games.

B: In adult relationships we have something called compromising. So yeah, if you want to have a meaningfull relationship with anyone, be it friends or girlfriends eventually you will have to do stuff you don't like. It' s one of the hardships of living in society.
Unless of course you live in your own little world, and by that I mean lock yourself in your basement playing vidya all day long while furiously masturbating. Then you won' t have to do stuff you don' t like.

Re: Twilight eclipse
Comprimising is where both, note this thought, parties give up something.
If you say she's giving up sex, cuddling or some shit because you are giving up your likes to watch Twilight, you are a fucking whipped boy. That's not a healthy adult relationship, that's one person forcing you to do something you don't want and not giving any thought into you, and thinking for oneself.

Or it could just as easily be, “by virtue of living in the same house as you, I'm forced to watch hours of football/cricket/baseball/professional arsecracking every week, and now I want us to watch something that I like together."
The way some of you boys immediately assume that the compromise is "watch this with me or we won't have sex" is just sickening.

We're just fucking high and deciding to come to the conclusion of sex because...I dunno. It's staring at us in black and white? But nah, this must be our male stupidity that came to this conclusion.Heroes are spineless now?

Re: Twilight eclipse
If you actually came up with an example of a woman saying that she'd withhold sex because her boyfriend didn't watch Twilight with her, that would make you sound less like a bunch of pissy cockheads.
