I took my little brother to see that movie again tonight. It was the third time for me, and I thought of an interesting idea. Well, maybe it's just stupid but check this out:
If the writers for a sequel to this movie wanted a way out, here is how they could do it. Remember Linderman? He was the guy that bled out of his back after hitting some metal sticking out of the cabin wall at Crystal Lake. Later, we see the Destiny's Child girl talking to him while he's bleeding and dying (he kept telling her to 'go get help'). What if the sequel opens with him in an ambulance and being revived? He didn't die. Maybe everything that happened was his uncounscious mind dreaming with Freddy in control. Maybe Freddy was setting everything up for what happens in the sequel! See? Stupid maybe but it's still a way out...

How about they just bring both Freddy and Jason back with almost nothing by way of a logical explanation? It's always worked in the past.
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

Hell, by now the ability to perpetually return to existence after being completely destroyed is pretty much just regarded as one of their powers, no?

Well, Freddy certainly seems able to come back in spite of anything that may have happened to him. Jason is different, sometimes they try to explain how he came back (granted it's always really dumb and virtually impossible but at least they try) and sometimes he just comes back and that is that.
Look not to the hands of God for the keys to your salvation, but to your own hands. And if they are not there, search your pockets, or the kitchen table. Think. Where did you leave them last?

What, exactly, would be the point of bringing Linderman back to life? Kelly (and little Jay) was the only one worth remembering anyways.Superman wrote:I took my little brother to see that movie again tonight.
