Alliances & Conflicts

Post by Renewed_Valour1 »

Powers:
Star Wars: Empire (RotJ)*
Star Trek: Federation (Post Dominion War)
Babylon 5: ISA (Pre Crusade)
Andromeda: Systems Commonwealth (Pre-Fall)**
Honorverse: Manticore (Post Ashes of Victory)

A series of wormholes open in each location; which allow for travel from one universe to another. These wormholes appear in prominent locations in each universe where they are sighted immediately by each power. However with the arrival of the wormholes comes the Culture in the form of 2 GSVs and 4 ROUs They announce that it is their intention to police the area for 2 years before departing to endure a peaceful transition. They announce that none of the sides may take hostile action against any of the others. If that
rule is violated the penalty is the destruction of half your fleet and shipyards. Furthermore you may not transit through the wormhole into the territory of another power unless they approve your transit. If someone does so they will impound the vessel. Other than that trade and technology is allowed to go one without any outside interference on the part of the Culture.

The galaxies are discovered by all powers to be in the same universe with B5 at the center of a box shaoe with the others on a corner in the order they are in for the post. The distance from each galaxy diagonally to the center one is 60 million light years. Once the Culture leaves you have a free for all.

*Rebellion lost at Endor.
** Nietzschean Rebellion is abandoned as a result of these events.

Manticore would probably ally with the Commonwealth and the ISA. Neither of the other two would appeal to them at all. Of course any alliance would depend on the High Ridge Government being given the boot.
