I fully admit to having downloaded every episode from seasons 1-7. The reason? The only stations that aired SG1 did so up to two years late. However since having gotten Scifi, I intend on watching it on TV (though I might still download).
And to those who claim I am pirating. Kiss my fucking ass. I have 3 seasons on DVD and plan on getting the other 4 as soon as I can.

Stargate was supposed to end at six seasons. Scifi talked them into a 7th season. Then scifi talked them into a second series (Stargate Atlantis). Then Scifi talked them into a final 8th season going on at the same time as Atlantis. They are still considering a SG1 movie as well.
Stargate is a complete franchise. One feature film, two series, and potentialy more films (either for TV or box office)

More importantly, will any of the Stargates be located outside of suburban Vancouver?Shadow WarChief wrote:What I'm really curious about is the time slot for season one of Atlantis.
Are SG1 and Atlantis going to alternate the Friday 9:00 timeslot until SG-1 is done?

My ATI 9700 Pro AIW (with TV Tuner) and my 300gb of hard-drive space are ready to record all 4 hours of Stargate (Season 8 ep1, Atlantis, and The Lowdown) at max possible quality. *Nothing* will stop me from seeing this one, muhahaha!
