I have planned my entire day around it... I am having a barbeque then everyone leaves and I sit down to watch it, while also recording it. I'm a little obsessed.

I fully admit to having downloaded every episode from seasons 1-7. The reason? The only stations that aired SG1 did so up to two years late. However since having gotten Scifi, I intend on watching it on TV (though I might still download).

And to those who claim I am pirating. Kiss my fucking ass. I have 3 seasons on DVD and plan on getting the other 4 as soon as I can.

Exactly what episode number are they up to with this one anyway?

All I have ever seen is up to ep110, but that only divides nicely into 5, so would that make it the 5th season end or what?
(but then why 22 per, that doesn't sound right either... :? )

Another season? I heard that they weren't making any more and that they were going to do some films. Nice to see more episodes are on the way. So this series will carry on from where they left off right, where Oniel is frozen in that chamber. I hope they have kept all the cast.

Stargate was supposed to end at six seasons. Scifi talked them into a 7th season. Then scifi talked them into a second series (Stargate Atlantis). Then Scifi talked them into a final 8th season going on at the same time as Atlantis. They are still considering a SG1 movie as well.

Stargate is a complete franchise. One feature film, two series, and potentialy more films (either for TV or box office)

What I'm really curious about is the time slot for season one of Atlantis.

Are SG1 and Atlantis going to alternate the Friday 9:00 timeslot until SG-1 is done?

More importantly, will any of the Stargates be located outside of suburban Vancouver?

I film would be nice. Mabye a giant war with more ship battles. That's all I ever want from a sci-fi film.

Never! What would Vancouver do without Stargates?!

Techno: A film with quality rivalling the original, I would hope.

My ATI 9700 Pro AIW (with TV Tuner) and my 300gb of hard-drive space are ready to record all 4 hours of Stargate (Season 8 ep1, Atlantis, and The Lowdown) at max possible quality. *Nothing* will stop me from seeing this one, muhahaha! :D (It's also how I got Band of Brothers off of the History Channel)
