B5 and Star Trek are completely different in my opinion, even if DS9 and B5 both used a space station.

From what I heard, Paramount semi-copied from JMS, not the other way around.

True. JMS had Babylon 5 done and planned out before he even came to Paramount with it.

Actually, I've heard that DS9's only purpose was to attract B5 fans....
