Spaceball troopers Vs. Movie MI

Post by Sea Skimmer »

The Black and gray uniformed Spaceball troopers fight the Movie MI without there shoulder fired nukes. How would they fair fighting each other in Grozny, on planet P minus the bugs?

The MI troopers would kill all the spaceballs. They weren't at all effective in fighting. The MI could at least hit a target with a whole clip of ammo.

I quite liked the Spaceball troopers.

Their guns rule.

But are they? :) The Mobile Infantry fought against big bugs- not humanoids, after all.

I can't believe I'm arguing for the efficiency of troops in a MEL BROOKS movie.

The Spaceball troopers were able to capture the stunt doubles of the main characters, a feat unequaled in any other movie. Since Stunt doubles have instantaneous teleportation ability to take the place of the character they are doubling, this means that the Spaceballs could be the most advanced sci-fi civilisation ever.

Spaceball troopers: They have superior acuracy (if not for the fact that the pipes in that prison facility were magnetically sealed), unlike MI who use clips upon clips of ammo to kill stuff, except for themselve of course...

But the movie MI have superior accuracy against human targets, its only against bugs that they waste incredible amounts of ammo.

That's only when it's friendly fire, and therefore unintentional. We never saw great accuracy against human enemies.

Yeah, they seem to be great shots when the trooper in front of you helmet is removed... Of course their great military tactics of "run out in big, collected masses" just might give them the day :? ....

True, as might their concept of "ignore cover and charge." Morons. The Assholes could take the Moron Infantry any day of the week. If it was Heinlein's MI, then it would be a different story.

Heck the Spaceballs trooper actually took cover when fired on, and didn't emerge until the enemy ran out of ammunition. Course they then got killed..

Yeah, but they showed at least some tactical sense.
In any case, I knew it. I'm surrounded by assholes.

The spaceball troopers have the edge in training. They actually have a limited under standing of tactics(ie duck, run) which the MI lack. and they have lasers.
