The weapon arcs are somewhat questionable. We know its 4 main guns can traverse quite well for fire and the missiles are quite manueverable. However the Peregrine has a large body to have beam phasers installed on every arc.

But the side of a Peregine dosen't, typical trekkie arguement, I never seen I one peregin engagement from The Maquis ,The Gambit, to What we leave behind a single fighter or raider firing from the side

Now if you have pic the proves it otherwise I will take your word

And as of this moment I declare myself netrual in all future Trek vs. Other threads!!!!!!! 8) 8) 8)

The side of the Peregrine does not have beam phasers, but we have seen its forward phasers fire off axis.

If this was the Delta Flyer vs Gunstar, things would be different because the DF has complete phaser coverage.

However, if the gunner is killed, what then??? Does a Gunstar have any Artificial Intelligence system to control its weapons??
Unknown, but if the cockpit is nailed, it's a moot point anway.

(sigh)

There is plenty of proof that Beam phasers can easily fire off axis.

As to the DF, its got 8 phaser arrays and 4 of them are angled to hit both forward, aft, and side targets.

This is the best I can do for now and its in regards to the Delta Flyer.

Each of those dark lines is a phaser array. The DF has 8 of them.

It may have the ability to allow the pilot to control the weapons in such an event, but what would be the point? Killing the gunner would kill the pilot too since neither can survive exposure to space.

I already pointed that out.
