Buffy takes this one not only through shere power, but Buffy is also well trained (unlike Faith, who would probably lose to Max)

Deadlift: 2.5 tons (5,000lbs)*
Longjump: 157ft
Vert Jump: 25.5ft*
Running Speed: 69mph
Sprinting Speed: 126mph

Other Advantages:
Slayer Healing: Able to heal quickly from wounds, even greivous ones
Slayer Durability: hit with Ford Truck going 35mph and able to run away from the gathering crowd.
Slayer Senses: Sense Presence of Evil
Slayer Weapons Training and Fighting Skills: Inate abilities, but training is still nessesary for more complex maneuvers. Buffy has that training.

Max: - Averages
Deadlift: 2400lbs (1.2tons)
Longjump: 75ft
Vert. Jump: 15ft*
Running Speed: 33mph
Sprinting Speed: 60mph

Military Training: underwent +7 years of military training, including combat training
Animal Agility: Very agile
Stem-cells in blood stream: able to heal the most greivous of injuries, even spinal injuries.
Durability: Hit with a regular sized honda and walked away with a grunt.
Super Senses: Telescopic vision, super-sensitive hearing, possibly other enhanced senses.

1) With Weapons
Max Weapons = Batons, Stun Guns
Buffy Weapons = Medieval weaponry, the occasional rocket Launcher
Winner = ....I dunno, depends on who gets the first good shot at the other.
Both hate guns, despite Max having extensive training with them.

2) W/O Weapons

Buffy Wins

3) With Buds
Max = Wheelchair bound Hacker, another X-5, and Joshua (strong as a Slayer, no Training)
Buffy = A Powerful Witch, A British Badass (i'm talking about Giles of course

), A Billy Idol Wannabe, a vengance demon, a little sister (who might just be a Slayer in Training...) and a carpenter (who can drywall your ass into the next century)
Buffy Wins, little can stop the Scooby Gang at full strength

4) w/o Buds

1a) Give this to Max, she has badder buds with better connections. And not all of them have the same moral restrictions as her when it comes to weapons.

1b) Max has demonstrated an innate ability to avoid getting shot and an almost jedi-like combat sense... Its close, very very close.

2a) Max all the way, her buds are just plain better in HtH than the scooby gang.

2b) Probably Buffy, but neither one walks away.
