Clonetroopers Vs Terminator army
The battlefield is that of the ruined, smoking wasteland, post nuclear war. There are 10'000 Clonetroopers on the ground, complete with 500 gunships, and 500 AT-TEs (or whatever they're called). They face 10'000 T-800s, plus 500 of those flying things from T2, and 500 of those rolling battletanks from T2.
Entirely generic characters. I also realise, that we perhaps don't know enough of the capabilities of the Terminators army (such as the hovercraft and tank) to have an entirely informed debate.

The Terminators die. The Clonetroopers win easily.

(For the record: Sothis is NOT an alias of mine)
Anyway: Why would they win so easily?
The Clones have air and armour support, but then so do the Terminators.
Although the LAATs do have an air to air capability which the airborne HKs appear to lack. That would be the most decisive factor.
But, up until the last of the airborne HKs is shot down, why would the clones beat the Terminators so easily?
T-800s are far superior soldiers to battledroids, and even to SBDs, which while physically a lot tougher than the basic TF battledroids, were still stupid like them. On the other hand T-800s are much more intelligent, devious, creative etc.
They could give the clones a very hard fight, and maybe even be winning up until they lost their air support.
AT-TEs would be fighting the ground HKs... I'm not sure how that would go. The HKs in the movie were only ever seen engaging human targets, it's possible they are optimised for anti-personnel work rather than anti-armour capability. But then on the other hand they might be quite capable of anti armour work. It's an unknown variable.

Superior firepower, superior mobility. The Clones will destroy the T-800s with minimal effort.Anyway: Why would they win so easily?
It's perfectly known! The model for the ground HK mounts two weapons--confirmed to be plasma machineguns. This might be able to kill clone troopers, but the AT-TEs will be unfazed and will vape them like they weren't there.AT-TEs would be fighting the ground HKs... I'm not sure how that would go.
