I don't really see a problem with the lead human character being a little girl.

He had a space axe ever since the very first episode of the eighties cartoon.

Of course, it wasn't half as cool as Beast Wars' Primal wielding a skull-shaped mace. Too bad only his toy had it, not the cartoon character...

And then half the time when someone did get hit it didn't do any kind of appreciable damage either.

I hate the faces. Everything else looks pretty cool, but I really don't like the faces.

Huh. I've only seen a couple of episodes of the original and I never saw a space axe. Oh well.

Optimus only used it once (as did Megatron and his energy mace) in the second episode of the three-part "More Than Meets the Eye" premiere.

Clearer pics of some of the Animated figures, including a couple we haven't seen yet.

Could this be the first Blackarachnia figure that accurately represents the character and doesn't look like crap?

The truck with the gun turret on the back reminds me on G1 Onslaught. Will we see the Combaticons return? (I hope there will be a combiner in the new series.)
Please do not make Americans fight giant monsters.

Those gun nuts do not understand the meaning of "overkill," and will simply use weapon after weapon of mass destruction (WMD) until the monster is dead, or until they run out of weapons.

They have more WMD than there are monsters for us to fight. (More insanity here.)
