It stretched my SOD a bit, but it works...basically, I'm never going to be able to look at Adama again without being blown away by his crazed badassery.

The CG old-style Cylon looked a bit lame for some shots, but overall it worked for me. Liked his POV shots, and I thought it was really interesting how he bleeds...they must be experimenting with part-organic bodies already.

I figured the "blood" was something like oil or lubrication fluid, or maybe from a hydraulic circulatory system.

Looks rather red to me, and Adama's reaction to it was pretty interesting as well. This may be reaching, but note that in the miniseries he almost immediately catches onto the idea of organic Cylons.

The parallel between caving the centurion's head in and beating Leobon to death with a torch is hard to ignore...

I thought it was great, even if the whole free-fall punch up reminded me of a moment from a Simpsons episode...

Or Peter Griffin versus the Chicken.

...and yeah, it would have been even better if Adama beat the crap out of the centurion with a torch.

I think the design of those things means that it's going to look cheesy no matter how they're realized.

Looks like they altered the design. At least around the limbs so they appear to be more robotic and less man-in-suit.
