The Black Carapace can withstand autogun rounds, can't it?

Or am I mistaken?

I honestly don't know. Of course, it doesn't pose that big a problem if it does. Ned Kelly anyone?

To tell you the truth, there is not any any weapon in that era that could make a space marine fly at 100m/s yet be able to hit said object at an appreciable distance.

Also there are sources that have implied that Space Marines can take autogun rounds with little or no visible damage.

Seems to me it's down to the "ambush him and dowse him with flaming oil" strategy. Depending on just how smart he is, this may be a good bet or it may be all but impossible.

There's also poison. I've heard stuff about SMs being "immune to poison", but different poisons work differently, and there's the chance he might not have all of them covered. Cobra venom, for instance, is based on complex polypeptides and therefore not a particularly good chemical warfare agent; if there aren't any cobras around in the time of the Imperium, the stuff might be able to toast his acetylcholine receptors and incapacitate him (though I'm not sure it would kill him, what with the other extensive modifications). The modified kidneys might recognize it as a foreign substance and filter it out of his bloodstream before it has much effect, though.

In general it looks like the British are fairly well screwed, unless they've got some really good tacticians.

Snake venom might not be a good idea. While we're dropping an Imperial Fist, so he lacks a functioning Sus-an membrane and Betchers Gland, his Oolytic kidney, secondary heart and Preomnor should still be able to neutralize the toxin (or at the very least filter it out), though understandably his body won't be able to preserve and store the toxin for later use

Remember, this isn't just "Space Marine VS Brits", this is "Mughals with a Space Marine vs Brits". Any attempt to trap or lure him into cannonfire will have to take into consideration an enthusiastic Mughal resistance who will go to great lengths to preserve their greatest asset, whether by harrying artillery positions or dropping him a rope to retrieve him from any trap he might fall into.

The Mughal Empire at this point was in far worse shape than Western Roman Empire in it's very last year. The Emperor controlled just one just city and even that is debatable. In any case the emperor died in 1862 so the Mughals are a lost cause no matter what.
I have to tell you something everything I wrote above is a lie.
