Right now I'm reading Mindstar Rising, and although the Libertarianish opinionation isn't terribly obnoxious, the Trinities gangsters... uh, vigilantes, being among the "good guys" is just a bit fucking much. Is Hamilton like a right-wing Ken Macleod or something?

I never liked the Mindstar books much, which is odd, because I really enjoy the style of basically everything else the guy wrote. I dunno, maybe he just built a really shoddy world and wrote in it, or something.
