No contest here. The Bab5 Vree are nothing but a very minor race. The Asgard of SG1 though are one of the 5 most powerful races in the universe. If not for the replicators giving the Asgards trouble the Asgard could have annihilated the Goa'uld.

I agree with DocMoriartty. The Vree were pathetic. Their ship was cut to ribbons by the main guns of an Omega for pity's sake! That is probably the second-weakest main races capship in the series!

Meanwhile, the Asgard can kill an entire Gou'ald assault/occupation force in something less than 10 seconds. A single starship is enough to put a System Lord into full retreat. They are the SG-1 universe's only FO-level race.

Seeing that Vree and other league races don't have shielding, Asgard disintegrators would have a field day against the Vree.

WHERE in all of B5 did you come up with that?????
The Vree are one of the older, more powerful, though mostly nonmilitary, races in B5.
In all the series I've never seen a Vree ship destroyed by EA guns.
I've seen them shredding Shadow and Vorlon fighters in large numbers but not getting hit, where was this?

Also to note, Asgard ships so far only have one weapon, and the bolt that is fired does not fly that fast either.

In the only episode with the Vree in it, the EFS Agamemnon fires one of its' forward particle beam cannon, which cuts right through the Vree abductor ship like a hot knife through butter. A few minutes of this, plus several strafing runs from a couple of squadrons of Starfuries blows it into scrap metal.

Where in the series did you get this??? The Vree were only ever in one episode IIRC, and never faced the Shadows, Vorlons or any of the other First Ones.

You're out of date, there have been at least 2 episodes featuring Vree saucers against FO fighters.

The Agamemnon has NEVER fired on a Vree ship and never would, as the Vree are part of the AoL which the Aggie signed onto at first chance when they went to free Earth of Clarke.
I hope that you are not confusing the ones who abducted sheriden with the Vree.
