The Tollans have defense guns that can pass through 9000GT shields (forgot which ep it was stated, but it's somewhere along those lines).
Darth Vader sends the fleet from Endor to Tollana before the Battle of Endor begins. The Deathstar is NOT here to blow it up.
Who wins?
Tollans vs. Empire invasion fleet

Its a calc, working back from thet time a Ha'tak sat on a blue giant. The empires sheilds are a hellova lot more powerful though. Light ships it could take. Not ISDs as for SSDs that is just a joke. They get painfully annihalated, as Anibis did to them.

Well the Tollan weapons have a variable speed and power setting. With multiple guns a half dozen batteries fired on Goa'uld ships and blew them out of the sky. With one gun it fired two very powerful bursts. The first blew away the Hatak's shields, the second blew away the ship itself. It took an estimated 8 seconds. Earlier the Tollan Ion Cannons put shots up into high orbit in less then 2 seconds.
So these are long range and very powerful weapons.

I think that 8-sec shot was just for the sake of TV suspense. When those half dozen shots approached, the ship was just vaporized on the spot.Alyeska wrote:Well the Tollan weapons have a variable speed and power setting. Or the super powerful shots are slower.
