One crossover I considered writing a fanfic for, was for the Autobots to transform into UNSC vehicles (Optimus is a Scorpion tank), while the Decepticons transform into Covenant vehicles. Both Cybertronian factions awaken upon Halo as amnesiacs, although the Autobots and Decepticons quickly exhibit their character traits as the UNSC, the Covenant, and the Flood begin opening cans of whoopass on the Forerunner structure. Eventually, we learn the Forerunners created the Cybertronians as automated anti-Flood weapons (as mechanical life forms, they have no biomass for the Flood to take over), but 343 Guilty Spark's rampancy led a group of Cybertronians (Decepticons) to attempt to exterminate all biological life forms, including the very species they were designed to protect (the Forerunners), as a means of destroying the Flood.
