So we agree on the basics. (I'm really not keen on alternate realities. They cheapen the whole deal)Thanas wrote:Without going too far into details - and please note that this is not official show policy, just me shooting off my own mouth, the future is IMO changed as soon as you stepped out in the year X. Of course, you have to influence the past in order to make a noticeable change (like Stark did).
It is simply not enough to just live in the past.
But if that is the case. How can you send somebody back to stop somebody from say killing John Connor?
I mean after the Terminator transits. Shouldn't the future be altered immediately and thus if Skynet is right and the resistance loses without John Connor the resistance has lost before they can even consider sending somebody back to stop it? Or am I missing something?
If my drawn out wild rants above didn't tip you off I'm enough of a completionist to chase every last detail down if I get even a hint of a scent.
BTW: Talking about show policy and such. Do you work on it or something? (And if so. Should I feel stupid for not having figured it out before? )
EDIT: Also I was wrong about them jumping from New Mexico to LA in the timeshift in the pilot. I completely forgot they went to LA before jumping.
