The Warehouse 13 Thread (spoiler potential)

Post by Ted C »

Order of the Stick and Girl Genius have threads in Fantasy, so why not a Warehouse 13 thread in Other Science Fiction? Well, maybe it should be in Fantasy, too... I'll let a mod decide that.

I must say, I've enjoyed the first season. Sure, the artifacts are often rather goofy, but the overall premise isn't too bad; there are at least some rules for how the artifacts work; I like the characters; and there's some continuity.

The writers certainly went for a big thrill ride for last night's finale. I just wish they hadn't resorted to handing out idiot balls to all the main protagonists in order to set up the crisis. On multiple occasions when they were bantering with the villain, I was saying out loud "just SHOOT HIM". On others, when they were following the trail of clues, I was saying out loud "STOP PLAYING HIS GAME".

*sigh*

But I still like it. Hopefully Pete and Myka will get to redeem themselves in the second season opener.
"This is supposed to be a happy occasion... Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who."
-- The King of Swamp Castle, Monty Python and the Holy Grail

"Nothing of consequence happened today. " -- Diary of King George III, July 4, 1776

"This is not bad; this is a conspiracy to remove happiness from existence. It seeks to wrap its hedgehog hand around the still beating heart of the personification of good and squeeze until it is stilled."
-- Chuck Sonnenburg on Voyager's "Elogium"
