If the Second Foundationers on Terminus put up a bit more of a fight than what was described in the books then you could have a decent action scene to end the trilogy on without really changing the story's essential plot.

One of those barbarian kings on Anacheron (sp?) with those Foundation adeptus mechanicus-type guys had a nice personal nuclear 'halo-field' around his flying hover-throne. That, and those new battleships the barbarians had, could provide some shiny super spectacle sights. But for actual-factual action, Foundation is very anemic in that regard. :(
