I live in the city, but I don't really know anybody on SDN so it'd probably come down to me roaming the area, going to my house and hunkering down until Q decides to fling us all back. Add onto the fact that I've never shot a gun that wasn't airsoft, and have only basic medical training and slightly better than basic knowledge, and I'm probably going to be zombie chow. Also, knowing my way around the city means nothing when a Tripod in Williamsburg turns me to ashes. So very screwed.

Step 1: Get the gladius for the soldier.

Step 2: Get the jian and the 1911 for the soldier : replace the gladius.

Step 3: Get the AT4 for the soldier instead.

Step 5: Have the soldier shoot me with the AT4.

Step 6: Come back as a ghost, and steal Zor's / Q's money as he tries to do the tactical reload on an AK, or make a katana underbarrel attachment for the M16, or whatever the hell he's doing.

Step 7: Ask what my options are for the MRE's.

I figure that the tripods are the only things that would really go for us if we hide up in a tall building and remove the stairs. If we have enough RPGs to take out the 100 tripods then we just hide up there and keep an eye out in case the tripods attack. Other than that, just trap the bottom floor with all the razor wire and caltrops and stuff we can find. Or maybe leave the bottom floor alone and trap the second floor.

If the tripods are only 60 feet (20m) tall, they're no real threat if you use the roof of the taller skyscrapers in New York. Since the average size is 600ft+.

Indeed, with only a 48 hour time to survive it's going to be a quick call of "Mess! Rally to the evac point!" Two minutes of running to clear the park and then finding the nearest area to hole up 25 stories up or 4 stories down the emergency staircase. Just go up/down, find a likely floor, clear the exits, the only thing we have to worry about is blobs and zombies +Bruisers if we go up, +Morlocks if we go down.

Because we have Omi keys we head for either the Plaza Hotel(Has a nice big sub-basement vault) (If we are at the south end of central park), the Various musems (All of which have vaults we can fort up in) or any of the Metro stations to use the control rooms to fort up in.

Option one: Link up with Mess then sit down, shut up an do what they tell me.

Option two: With my soldier buddy: Special Forces please. High tail it to the best hiding spot. If vaults are taken try one of those storage basements in a strip mall.
