Are there any Sci-Fi series tha Federation can beat?

Post by BlackAdder »

I just want to see if there are actually any sci-fi series or universes that the Federation can beat without being scaled down somewhat. There have to be some, somewhere. Any ideas?
Note: this is not suppposed to be offensive, I just think that ST is one of the less warlike sci-fi universes I've come across.
Incidentally, you haven't been looking at the Angel for a while...

Welcome to the forum.

This thread has been done many times before, and you should search before posting such things.

I've locked this because these threads always turn into a long essay in how the UFP sucks.

Here is a link to an old thread on this topic (please don't post in it without reading the rules on thread necromancy first, or I'll have to lock that too.)

Offhand: Babylon 5 (mostly), New Battlestar Galactica, Starship Troopers (movie) are amongst the parties typically mooted as the Federation's whipping boys. Needless to say, any sci-fi without space travel too.
