Re: [40K]Chaos titans
Of course, it's rather questionable how seriously the Castigator's ramblings about its origins and nature can be taken, given its obvious insanity and frankly rather dismal performance. It doesn't exactly live up to the "Super Titan bigger & more powerful than an Imperator" billing, being smaller than all but two examples thereof I can think of offhand, and vastly less powerful.
"I do not say the French cannot come. I only say they cannot come by sea." - Admiral Lord St. Vincent, Royal Navy, during the Napoleonic Wars
"Show me a general who has made no mistakes and you speak of a general who has seldom waged war." - Marshal Turenne, 1641

I agree based on its insanity, but I'm not sure what you mean by dismal performance. It's not like the Castigator had any sort of foe worthy of its alleged ranking. The most it faced was a Warhound, and it's not like that was even fully crewed and ever a threat. Certainly it wasn't facing Godbreaker (from Helsreach), which was supposed to be superior to an Emperor-class.
