Saw Inception, did not enjoy it (spoilers)

Ah, my mistake. The inner ear can detect changes in acceleration but not changes in velocity. I knew free-fall was very similar to zero-G but figured they would only be indistinguishable upon reaching terminal velocity. So either Nolan was under a similar misconception or that is another rule to add to the unstated laws of the Inception universe.
