Ok, people have recommended which of the classic who episodes we should look at, now how about which are the best Doctor Who audios to get. These are most probably harder to get in the library, although if ahem, you know where to look you can find them online. I have several BF audios in my collection including the Dalek Empire series and some of the Gallifrey series. They weren't too bad. I also found the Nightmare Fair, which was a Colin Baker story which never got off the ground due to BBCs cancellation of DW in the 80s. BF finally got Baker and Nicola Bryant back and they did an audio of the story, which was reasonable.
However a really good audio is the Paul McGann story "The Chimes of Midnight". Murders which keep on occurring, with the people being brought back to life only to die again but in different manner, kind of like Groundhog day. I enjoyed listening to it.
So what are your recommenations.

I'd recommend: -
The Fearmonger - An alien creature which feeds on fear and heightens it by causing racist sentiments. Great paranoia about who is controlled by it at any one time.
The Marian Conspiracy - The first story that really shows what Colin Baker can do on audio and introduces a great character in the form of Evelyn Smyth.
The Holy Terror - It got Frobisher in it! A really dark comedy, the voice of the god child really creeped me out.
Project: Twilight - An interesting modern vampire story with some powerful characters.
The Old Doctor - A hilarious comedy about someone pretending to the be doctor (Christopher Biggins).
The Chimes of midnight - As mentioned above another great dark comedy.
Spare Parts - Genesis of the Cybermen, an introduction of some nice ordinary people who then get converted to soulless machines for necessity. The sound of a cyberman crying is very creepy.
Jubilee - The story that the TV episode Dalek was based on. A very dark alternative world where the Dalek is probably the most human character.
And the Pirates - A musical episode based in Gilbert and Sullivan.
Omega - A fairly light story but with a twist you will not see coming at the end.
Davros- A great character study showing just how great Davros if he didn't keep shooting himself in the Fo.. em Arm?
Arrangements for War - Unusually a romance story for Dr Who but another great story for the Doctor and Evelyn.
The Kingmaker - A really quite bazar comedy about the Doctor writing a book on historical characters and ending with Shakespeare dying before he was born and Richard III writing his plays.
Son of the Dragon - An interesting historical about the life of Vlad Tepis. An interesting look into the character Errimen.
The company of friends - Four short stories featuring companions from other media such as the Virgin and BBC books and the Dr Who Magazine.
A death in the family - An interesting look into the after effects of the Doctors death, also the word lord is a great enemy.
The Cannabilist - An interesting story about artificial life and the bit with one of the robots being disassembled alive is creepy.
Relative Dimensions - The Dr tries to have a normal Christmas with his family.
Lucie Miller / To the death - The earth and the Doctors companion goes through absolute hell leading to a heart breaking ending.

Mentioned a bit about this in another thread, but it had felt to me that he has forgotten how to play his Doctor.inviz345 wrote:They is a new one on bbc 4 extra the hornets nest all week with tom baker.
I would add Whispers of Terror. Bit dodgy in a few parts of the story though I won't spoil it, but I really liked the way they used the audio medium to their advantage to really bring out the story.
Mahogany Murders - Jago and Litefoot team up again for a wooden mystery. It's a companion chronicle but it carries on decently. I tried listening to their first series that came after but it wasn't as good.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."
