Well at least as the comics go, Bane knew Bruce Wayne was Batman pretty much from the word go.

LOVE the music in this one especially, Hans Zimmer is a genius.

As someone who dislikes The Dark Knight, this trailer actually makes me want to see the final chapter in Nolan's world. I'm still not sold on Hathaway and the "batwing," however. I hope that the themes he proposes don't feel like they were thought up by high schoolers.

didn't follow online discussion - the guy in the trailer looks within 'normal' size, has no glowing tubes and looks identical to the mutant gang leader.
the batmobile 'tank' matches the batmobile tank used in the book climax, Gordon is forced out the same way as the book and 'its the final one' ect ect.
but seeing how Nolan's reimagined joker, then bane looking like that makes sense.

Yes, this is Bane portrayed in Nolan's style, with less fantastical gadgets and absurd appearances.
But its quite possible he's combining the two characters. Remember the way he combined Ducard and Ras Al Gul into the same character?

So it looks like there's going to be some kind of 'occupy wall street' (occupy gotham?)/99% thing going on: catwoman said something like 'there's a storm coming, and when it arrives you & your friends will wonder how you lived so large for so long and leaving nothing for the rest of us'; in one of the trailers, all those people rioting in the streets; and I think in that latest trailer some guys were shooting up a stock exchange.
So I guess Nolan's going to put in a bunch of heavy-handed shit about that, like he did with the war on terror in the last batman. I wonder if he'll handle it any better (probably not).

IIRC, they did do some shooting at various 'Occupy' camps, so you can safely bet that "Occupy Gotham" will be a part of the finished product.

So I've been wondering who that random GCPD cop was they keep showing. Apparently he's some dude they make up for the movie.
Except the name "John Blake" has actually appeared in the comics before.

They established that Bane knew who Batman was in the last trailer. Bruce Wayne says "why didn't you just kill me" and Bane replies "your punishment must be more severe".Gandalf wrote:Link
