Chuck does the Thing

Post by Ahriman238 »

Or, Who Goes There?

I'm ambivalent on whether or not Quin was a Thing when he flipped out. On the one hand, sabotaging the vehicles really only makes sense if he wasn't. On the other, sabotaging the radio really only makes sense if he was.

Might want to rethink that title.

Also the radio allows to call for help and people to bring more vehicles to them for the thing to escape. So yeah, I can see why he would if he wasn't.

I'd think it'd be more important to tell the world the Thing was there. They were expecting more people to arrive in the spring, and the Thing (granted they didn't know this at the time) had already been revived from an icy grave once. So I see it only as the difference between more people stumbling unwittingly upon the Thing and letting it escape and people coming in forewarned.

EDIT: All of this, of course, hinges on people believing what they hear, at least enough to take precautions on the off chance it's true.

Nerd doesn't understand drama?

I wonder if that terrible game tried to answer these stupid questions. I bet it did.

27 thousand hours? I always thought that was 27 hours (27.000).
