Doctor Who 50th. anniversary short stories (spoilers).

Post by The Romulan Republic »

A while ago I created a thread about the possibility of J.K. Rowling writing one of a series of short stories created for the fiftieth anniversary.

http://bbs.stardestroyer.net/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=157532

However, that thread is rather out of date, so here's a new one to discuss the series.

The first story, A Big Hand for the Doctor, features the First Doctor and is written by Eoin Colfer. The second, The Nameless City, features the Second Doctor and is written by Michael Scott, about whom I know almost nothing. The first story has Spoiler
a pirate
, and the second one has Spoiler
the Necronomicon
.

The Guardian has been kind enough to feature an article with an excerpt on each story.

Interesting. I may as well add that Chuck has put up a review of the Three Doctors.

The writer of the third story is Marcus Sedgwick. I don't know much about him. Has anyone here heard of him before?

I don't know why they called it The Three Doctors. It should have been The Two Doctors and some old dude on a TV you can barely see.

Oh and I hope that Eccleston comes back for the 50th thing. Fuck you Stark! Hahahahaha!

What does The Three Doctors have to do with this thread? Did you accidentally post that in the wrong thread?

I forgot that someone posted a comment about Chuck's review in here. Sorry.

And I would also like it if Eccleston returns. But I would like McGann to get another chance to play the Doctor on screen even more.
