Pris is not a robot, under most definitions, nor a cyborg nor a hologram.

Voltron is a set of piloted craft, so if they're "robots", so is a 747.

The original blog post linked to in the OP just said, Synthetics. Which should be accurate all semantics notwithstanding.

YES! Screamers. I read Philip K. Dick's short story long before I saw the movie. The movie is as good as the book, despite the changes they made. Still think the Teddy is the scariest of them all
That was my first thought as well, I completely forgot about AI. Might have something to do with his neighbors (well at least the ones I recognized at a glance with no thought) being of the deadly variety. Seriously, we've got the Westworld cowboy robot, a Dalek, a classic Cylon, ED-209, an Agent from The Matrix; surely the kid with the cute teddy bear must be dangerous somehow... the Screamers kid.
