Yes I just picked it up today. It's the first Original Slammer'; book that he's written in years!

Just as long as he never writes another "Lacey" novel I am happy.

David Drake's got a new "Hammer's Slammers" novel out, this is the first one he's written since "The Sharp End" which came out in 1990.

Since Drake killed three computers writing it, I consider this a very worthwhile sacrifice. Now someone go out there and convince people that we need a Hammer's Slammer's MOVIE or TV show.

Now can we get the PC crowd no to object to a Sociopathic Dictator who rules a planet, and hires out his army as Mercs. Or better yet, the fact that his right hand man, is a Sadistic, Albino, homosexual, Sociopath.?

Stubens is from a planet that worshiped Hitler and Neizche, they kicked him out because or his sexual prefrences. (the Albinoism, was a result of their breeding practices) The Sociopathic & Sadistic tendances are partailly a result of his upbrining. (Think watered down Drakka/Neizcheians)

Drake rocks. Anyone who wants to read action packed stories with believeable characters and situations, should check him out. Good stuff.
