Everything is perfect and peaceful on earth, with millions of metal robots walking around looking at the gorgeous nature, when all of a sudden a portal opens and some baldricks come out. Fortunately, there is a pair of skynet MBTs nearby which instantly open fire and the baldricks disappear. The baldricks in Hell get nervous and send more baldricks to look for their brothers. But now there are thousands of Skynet MBTs, gunships, artillery, dragons and various infantry guarding the portal, and the reinforcing baldricks disappear even before they walk through the portal.
Then a cheap model T-600 walker trips and falls over and accidentally goes through the portal, and much to Skynet's surprise it is still completely functional on the other side. So then Skynet rallies a force of 1 million forces with tens of thousands of MBTs, gunships, artillery, infantry and a few commanding dragons to invade through the portal. The baldricks on the other side become furious and decide that the invading baldricks must be enjoying themselves so much on earth that they decided to never come back, so they send a execution team of 500 elite baldricks to purify the traitor baldricks.
The elite baldricks are marching along the hellish terrain singing terrible songs of death and torture when there is an awful noise in the sky and magical blue flashes rain down and all 500 baldricks vanish as if they were never there. However, this event was being watched by a group of terrified orcs who were out on scavenging duty. They quickly return to Dis, where all the baldricks are and tell the baldricks what happened. But the baldricks do not believe them and execute them and replace them with different orcs.
Meanwhile, Skynet decides that just to be sure, she sends another 3 million forces over into the portal, and posts 2 million nearby the portal to prevent any invasions. The skynet army of 1 million then joins up with the other 3 million and they form 4 organized forces which stayed a small distance between each other when moving around.
Meanwhile, Abigor and his mates are assembling a massive army to invade earth. Later on, they then head towards the portal and are shocked to see it overrun with strange, glistening silver-y machines. Then a dragon appears and annihilates over 450,000 of their 500,000 baldrick force all on it's own in just a few minutes. Abigor is slightly worried and falls back to Dis and informs Satan of the silver machines. Satan is a little worried and prepares his entire army of over 50 million baldricks.
Meanwhile, a t-700 terminator is wandering around the outskirts of Dis, wondering what to do when a force of 50 million baldricks appear. Satan orders them to fire upon the terminator, telling them that it is not indestructible and will die eventually. All 50 million baldricks open fire on the terminator which is hit by tremendous amounts of energy, and it is destroyed in just a few minutes, after killing a measly 3,000 baldricks. Satan cheers loudly and tells the baldricks they will easily defeat the skynet army, when a shadow rolls over Dis and a massive dragon almost as large as the entirety of Hell itself towers over Dis and Satan watches as it transforms into a giant floating city, which actually perfectly resembles Dis in the finest detail, every baldrick and being in Dis is perfectly simulated and modelled right down to their current position and activity.
Then it changes color to perfectly match the original Dis, and some of the baldricks gasp with surprise at this miracle, though Satan is not impressed too much. He does admire the fact that it is actually a perfect copy right down to the individual atoms, and every single twitch of a dying baldrick no one even knows is simulated in real time, as is every single droplet of water and magma, even the bacteria are exactly mirrored on the copy.
Then the copied Dis changes into a horrifying image of utter destruction of Dis, showing it being destroyed by the skynet army and every single baldrick currently in Dis being terminated by the silver machines.
Then the copy of Dis transforms into a tiny magpie, which turns invisible to not only sight, but every single possible sense, and is even powerful enough to fool high-end Star Trek sensors. The magpie flies onto Satan's shoulders and sighs a silent sigh and watches calmly while still issuing orders to it's troops.
The 4 million troops outside then attack, pouring every single bit of firepower into Dis and the demonic legions that they have available.

What happens now?
Scenario 1: match happens as described above.
Scenario 2: match happens the same as scenario 1, but with friendly Angels. Their homeworld is likewise exposed, to make it fair for Skynet.

Arnie wipes them all out, and comes after you. Because it's just that ridiculous.
"Beware the Beast, Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone amongst God's primates, he kills for sport, for lust, for greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him, drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of Death.."

Why is it, Archinist, that the universal response to these scenarios of yours is '...what?'

Because rather than coming up with a simple scenario, he has to fluff it out with all sorts of random bullshit which either makes zero sense or has nothing to do with the core question in the scenario.Esquire wrote:Why is it, Archinist, that the universal response to these scenarios of yours is '...what?'
You will be assimilated...bunghole!
Re: (Terminator) Large Skynet army VS Hell dimension (Salvation War)
Actually, I made sure this scenario actually plays out somewhat akin to the original content. The Skynet forces are somewhat buffed, sure, but otherwise they are mostly in-character, with Skynet intent of exterminating everyone and the baldricks mindlessly bumbling around.
Re: (Terminator) Large Skynet army VS Hell dimension (Salvation War)
That doesn't make it a less stupid scenario, or any more comprehensible. What's all that nonsense about a dragon as large as a dimension with different physical characteristics? Borgholio's got it; if you stopped adding all of this bizarre hyperdetailed self-contradicting bits, some of your posts might actually be interesting to discuss. For example, a better version of the OP might be:
Notice how this version has a lot less unhelpfully-weird details that don't add anything to the scenario? Notice how every other sentence doesn't start with 'suddenly, [weird thing happens for no reason]?'Archinist should have wrote: A portal opens connecting the Iraqi desert of the Terminator-verse Earth, circa ten years after Skynet's conquest, with Hell, as detailed in Stuart Slade's Armageddon series [link here]. Events in Hell have proceeded exactly as in OTL, with Abigor's army poised to invade. What happens? Can the robotic forces defeat the demonic ones in open battle? How long will it take Skynet to marshal its forces? What logistical and technological constraints will it be operating under? What will the human resistance do?

The Salvation War series is not for discussion on SDN. You have now been told.
