Starfleet vs Thrawn; With Equal Ships

Team A is composed of every major Starfleet captain or admiral. In the (paraphrased) words of B&B, 'Continuity can go to hell', so Kirk will be serving alongside Picard.

Team B is composed of a variety of misfits; Khan, Ender, Lex Luthor and Peter(Wiggin?).

Team C is composed of Thrawn.

Each team is given 5 planets with similiar resources placed relatively close to each other. Each planet has one major city defended by a small battalion of soldiers and a few static, orbital weapons. Each team is also given a Systems Commonwealth battle group with a full, utterly loyal crew, but the Novabombs are not onboard. The AIs are working, but may not offer tactical advice or interfere with the course of the battle.

Each time is given 10 months to familiarize themselves with the tech. After that, the battle begins. The objectives are to capture the other ten major cities, but you must completely destroy the enemy battle group.

Hmmm.... I think it comes down to Thrawn against Ender. The others are very good, but they are really no match when compared with the genius of either of those people. They are kind of peripheral characters who can only really handle a single ship or a small group of ships at a time. I think Thrawn takes it eventually, because he is a good strategist as well as a tactician.
