how would the mobile infantry from the book version of star ship troopers fair in the following situations.

Defending Hoth

Attacking Hoth

Defending Genos

Attacking Genos

It depends how many of them there are, but TBH, assuming a decent number of Troopers their only problem in the scenarios will be the Air power.
