Check of War of Honor

Post by Stormbringer »

For those of you intrested in checking out the Honor Harrington series nows the time.

The included CD has all of the Honor Harrington novels and anthologies in a variety of electronic formats. It also includes a dozens of other authors works. And it's all free!

If I could find the space, I'd post the files directly. And yes, it's legal. The CD itself says "This disk and it's contents may be copied and shared but NOT sold".

Is the damned book in stores yet? I've been checking every couple of days, but my local superstore chains are pretty slow about getting new sci-fi in. Of course, this wasn't a problem before those same stores pushed my parents bookstore out of business... CURSE YOU BORDERS!!!

I bought it at Barnes & Noble yesterday. It's been snapped up quickly though, especially with the CD. It's been pretty succesful as the CD is an added incentive for new fans to check out the series. It begins the new arc and has all (every last bit) of the previous Honor stories.

If you're really desperate I could just send you the file of the novel. It's on the bonus CD.

Buy the book, it should come with it. At least as far as I know. Or find someone in the US willing to make you a copy.

My local book superstore has so many copies that they've made a whole display out of it, and they all have the special CD too. I got myself the book and I'm about halfway thru it right now. They also have stacks of Destiny's Way on display there, but I can't justify buying it unless they too include a bonus CD with all the Star Wars novels with the book.

Say, do you want it to be a threesome with your wife? Or a foursome with your wife and sister-in-law? I'm up for either. :P

Yup, spent 5 years in retail meeting the needs of idiots, retards, assholes, peckerheads, and complete mental nutcases. I get to meet the weirdest people around on a daily basis, the latest one being a drunk reeking of alcohol who came into our store and proceeded to cuss at everyone and everything. He was dealt with rather forcefully after threatening the staff with violence and scaring all the customers away. I'm waiting for the day a mental patient from the local psychoward walks in with a straitjacket and tries to hump the display cases. Considering the weirdos we've dealt with already I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

Now when are they gonna give out CDs with Star Wars Books? :D

probably never, unfortunately.
5 Years? Man, I've only been stuck with it for less than 2 and I'm almost looking forward to getting deployed to some God-forsaken hellhole to escape it.
