Okay, Weber is historically guilty of providing us with very few hard energy figures, but we might as well assemble what we can.
From Armageddon Inheritance, we know that 6 sublight Achuultani missiles, each with a yield of 10 gigatons, were able to destroy a shielded 4th Imperium sublight battle ship, and that a single hyper missile that bypassed the shields was capable of the same thing.
This gives us a high end toughness of 60 gigatons worth of shielding and armor, or 10 gigatons of resistance from the armor alone, assuming the Achuultani were capable of directional anti-matter detonations.
This also gives us a low end estimate of <30 gigatons for a shielded battleship, and <5 gigatons after the shields have been breached, presuming an omnidirectional explosion. not directly in contact with the shields and hull.

Bullshit, the six missile group was fired before they were even able to launch hyper missiles, the one missile getting through calc is from when their hyper missiles had warmed up.
You should know by now that I make a clear distinction between what I consider to be established fact and those things that are merely my opinion.
Oh, and by the way, Nest Protector was able to detect the couriers performing Operation Laocoon as well, so Enchanach drive ships can be detected from normal space.

With their sensors yes.
Of course I would certainly hope you could detect multiple black holes.
The argument in question was whether or not the Imperials would be able to track the Echanach drive from a distance. It does you little good if you don't pick it up until the planetoid's entered the system now does it?
