At any point in the movie, even perhaps just in the background, coming out of the window of a passing car, ANYWHERE, can you hear "The Touch" By Stan Bush? If the answer is no, then I'm waiting for it to come out on HBO.

This can be SLIGHTLY mitigated if someone tells me that the universal greeting is used at some point.
Gee, I dunno. I guess you're going to have to go see it and find out, like me. :P

I have six tickets in my hand for July 4 at 1:30 PM. My family and a few friends are going to have a fucking blast. Or be sorely disappointed. But hopefully we will have a fucking blast.

Personally I felt that a little more talking/conversation between the transformers could be useful.

A lot of the characters really had no character, if you get the meaning...
Some died too quickly/easily too...

None yet. But there will be more Decepticons in the sequel seeing as 2 of them managed to escape.

Don Murphy has stated that he would want Unicron to be in the second or third film.

I was grinning the whole way through it. :D

Yeah, it made no sense but it makes up for it with giant robots, explosions, jets, giant robots, fight scenes, an evil vending machine, giant robots, nods to the original series, giant robots...

Giant robots with no character depth. And let's not forget sabot rounds! So what if the movie makers don't know what they are, let's have sabot rounds!

Yes, Cyke - they were definitely true to the original series in that first respect. :)

Plus for some reason Captain Lennox takes one look at Scorponok's tail and immediately he knows it's some kind of molecular armour. Wha?

I have one minor nitpick in the presentation of the quotes from the 1st movie.

Especially in the Megatron vs. Prime showdown. There's has got to be a better way of presenting "One shall stand and one shall fall..." than the shot of Sam hiding in the ditch.

Just came back from seeing it, and after the first 15 minutes of the movie I was like "Wow" and I knew that I wouldnt be disappointed. The cheesy lines, plot that made little sense, none of it really mattered. I loved every minute of it and probably will go and see it again in the theaters with a buddy who hasnt seen it. Goddamn awesome movie.

Yeah, Plevna at Tampere is having preview screenings of it every day. Probably the same at Helsinki I think. 4.7 is still the actual opening date for it though.

I will begin by stating that Transformers was my life. To give an idea, the very first time I ever met my Dad, the very first time, he gave me Optimus Prime. It's a pretty powerful connection. So I went into this film with the very foundation of my childhood on the line*.

And it was fucking awesome. I came out of there with a grin the size of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I laughed. When Peter Cullen spoke, I practically exploded. I was very impressed with th general badassery, though I felt there were a couple of missed oppurtunities. Regardless, I was most pleased.

*Not really.

I just saw it again, you know... to test whether my original reaction to the movie was a kneejerk reaction.

Know ye that it wasn't.

Oh no, it wasn't.

I can follow the action scenes better now. But that still doesn't excuse some shots of the final battle being shot too close and with a shaky cam which made it difficult to make sense of first time around. Give use some locked wide shots once in a while.

And I really want the soundtrack score. Just the thought of Optimus Prime's voice over in the opening scene with the music.... gave me goosebumps again the second time around.

I would have loved the Optimus vs Megatron angle to be the same as the first battle...........

It would have been less confusing and probably more gravitas. As it was, we couldn't really recognise which transformer was fighting whom.
