What about the Dynobots, then?

Like the Dreamwave/IDW versions, where's they're all tanks or other heavily armed vehicles.

Frankly I want Megatron to be ressurected as Galvatron by Unicron in the next movie already.

And get this Unicron devouring worlds! I have yet to see a movie where a giant metallic planet eats worlds, then transforms into a gigantic robot. This will be an instant hit.

Fine. No Dinobots.

How about Blackarachnia. As a sleek japanese motorcycle (since a 10ft spider would not be an apt disguise).

It would work rather well, a Decepticon going double agent in Optimus' call to other transformers, only to be swayed (mostly by "Gee: these guys will probably win in the end" and other things she picks up from the humans actually convert her). That way, there can be a tripple cross towards the end.

I know the movie continuity isn't G1, but other than original material (like Blackout), I'd rather not see anything from outside G1 put in it, so I'd have to say a huge no to stuff like Black Arachnia and Tidal Wave.

That idea for BA particularly sounds pretty mental, and extremely derivative of what happened in BW/BM. They already had a female Autobot motorcycle designed for the first film in the form of Arcee, so they might as well get their mileage out of that.

Personally, this is utterly due to bias - if the Constructacons are formed in movie 2, with a larger, angrier-looking Devestator as their gestalt mode, I'd like to see the Aerialbots, and Superion, trashing them.

If for no other reason than to see Starscream (and his two gigalo...er, "wingmen") getting beaten into the floor. However, if this is the case, there had better be none of this "I'm afraid of heights!" fetid bullshit from Silverbolt.

Ghetto Edit: actually regarding my mention of original material, I realise that besides Blackout, about half of the Decepticons are pretty much original creations for the movie, compared to all of the Autobots being essentially analogous to their G1 counterparts.

I just really don't want to see anything based on stuff from the Beast Era, RiD, or the Unicron Trilogy...

Nothing. I love Beast Wars, personally, but simply would rather not see anything borrowed from incorporated in the movie continuity.

The idea just rubs me the wrong way.

Is there any chance some allspark could infect a missile factory or something and give us Omega Supreme to fight Devastator?

I'll vote FOR bringing back the Dinobots, but you have to make Grimlock not sound like a retarded cave man.

I'll vote against. Whats the rationale that theyll use that wont be as retarded as the cartoon? "LOLZ we scanned fossils by mistake!!!1?"

Grimlock, upon landing - "boy, those military vehicles with all their weapon hardpoints look good, but man, give us those dead animal carcasses instead!"

Sludge - *slashes wrists*

And PS, Superion was a loser :P

Didn't Optimus Prime already killed on of the Constructicons in the first movie by sword-in-face?

Bonecrusher wasn't a construction vehicle I BELIEVE. He was a mine-sweeper, right?

In the film, Bonecrusher was an armoured anti-mine military vehicle called the Buffalo.

In G1, though, Bonecrusher was one of the five Constructicons that formed Devastator:

Scrapper, front end loader
Bonecrusher, bulldozer
Scavenger, excavator
Mixmaster, cement truck
Hook, truck-mounted crane
Longhaul, dump truck

Actually, some incarnations, toy wise at least, are only made of five.

Yeah, I wasn't paying attention, I meant six, witch just makes it dumber because I listed six right there.

I personally think six works better than five for certain combiners proportion-wise, such as the Constructicons when you consider that their alt-modes are all of similar sizes to each other.

The original Devastator was six robots.

I don't think a single other TF gestalt has been six.

According to the Dreamwave "More Than Meets The Eye", Monstructor (or whatever the fuck the Terrorcons morphed into) had six combiner parts.

Terrorcons turned into Abominus, the direct opposite of Computron.

Pirahnicon (aka King Posidian in Japan) was a 6 member Gestault also, with one of them turning into a weapon for it.
