This has been in production for about 3 to 4 years if I recall correctly.

I'm looking forward to seeing how much of a difference there is between this and Star Wreck. They didn't have the budget then that they do now.

I've never read a Marvel comic before, and never liked some of the other adaptions they've done, but I still found it an enjoyable film.

I know a number of people who don't like comic books or comic book movies in general who saw and enjoyed the Captain America movie. I only heard 2 complaints, that they should have frozen the girl, Peggy Carter, so she could join Cap in the present, and that the title card was at the end of the movie.

Captain America was a boring formulaic by the numbers Hollywood Action Movie Template hack job. It employed just about every cliche imaginable. Even if somebody else springs for the ticket, you could put those two hours to so much better use on something else. Like sleeping.

The thing is, SOAP (heh) would have been a hit if they didn't try to overshoot what the movie was and moved on the hype when it was at it's peak instead of forcing it to try to be a bigger hit than it was capable about of being. They just kept trying to milk the marketing and missed their window.

Movies like Iron Sky are an acquired taste. You either love them or think they are stupidest thing ever.

What I think everybody can agree however is that Iron Sky along with the in production Lord Inquisitor represents an interesting turning point in film making technology. For first time smalls teams are being capable of producing movies that look like hollywood films.

Personally I think Iron Sky is a great concept for a movie. The trailers were some of the best I have seen in many years. This is a movie that has a fantastic background,dark humour and lots of action. If they can keep up the same production values seen in the trailer I think this movie is going to rock.

The Americans that the Nazis wanted to conquer. The Asians the Nazis wanted to conquer.

Am I missing anyone? Oh yeah, the millions of people who still remember the Nazis killing family members, loved ones, friends, grandfathers, grandmothers, fathers, mothers, children. And the millions of soldiers that died defeating what is universally recognized as one of the most evil regimes ever created.
