Genius is always allowed some leeway, once the hammer has been pried from its hands and the blood has been cleaned up.
To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.

So, another episode of Clara Who. This has been a remarkably average season so far. Capaldi is barely getting a chance to show what he can do. His Doctor is really not 'likeable' at the moment, but then he's merely the eccentric sidekick to the main story.
The music gave it almost a 1970s farce feel as well. I thought this was supposed to be a 'darker' Doctor, not a comedy one.
