I mean just the stress from trying to track those Tie fighters could possible kill the pilot. right now accelerator compensaters are key just to pull off those 1000 g+ manuvers and wing Zero trying track them even with the Zero system is going to be deadly especialy at close range.
If TIEs could juke that fast, there's no way they would have humans flying them. Several times in GW, the rifle is stated as firing too fast for a human to react to.
And remember, X-wing pilots are able to dogfight with TIEs using their own abilities (pick up your visual scanning...)
Considering Zero had to get a precice lock on to destroy those Colonies and sections of Libra, I am inclined to believe it was targeting the main reactors, causing them to destroy it from internal explosions.
Though we are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,--
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
Jehuty or Anubis (or both) from ZOE would be a far better match up... especially since either of them would wipe the floor with a gundam :p
Also, we do know that Jehuty's reactor's maximum output is around 22 gigatons....

Look through out Gundam every time there is a target lock there is some thing to warn them and thanks to Inertial compensators they cake juke it out of there and then swarm. The best wing Zero can do is hit one as the rest scramble.

Andyour saying TIEs have this particular warning? Or could even detect the rifle's lock?
It has been aware since I've seen gundam wing. But I do belive there is no indication that we were seeing quata's twisted version of events at the colony attacks. It happened.. of course thats one of the reasons I don't particularlly like GWing.. Gundams are not superhero mechs. Just my 2cents.
My point is these Tie fighters have these warning system in star wars although the lasers lock on faster and is harder to dodge but where not talking about light laser cannon we are talking about we're talking about Wing Zero's huge ass buster rifle. Also have you notice it takes about a second and a half just a full lock which would be the most effective way to fight, this is all the Tie fighter pilots need.

Wing zero take to long to lock on this really cuts down on performance. while he is locking on the Tie pilot would get a beep and then moves quickly out of the way.

How do you know it takes this long? For all you know, it's just a way of heitening tension, like you LIBRA's drop somehow lasted like four episodes.
Because I watch the damn show like 4 times although I'll admit it has been quite some time since I last saw it. any way the only reason why mobile dolls can't react is because most of the time they are moving and use titanium in hulls not quadanium .
