Yeah, Asha'man have more destructivle capabilities than (most) female channelers, but only one of them really knows anything about healing, and he's self-taught at that (that, I think, is the real weakness the Aes Sedai have: they've gone stagnant. They're like that guy who originated the "everything that can be invented, has been" quote back a hundred or so years ago. No experimentation, no attempts to stretch the limits, no attempts to see if the Seafolk have channelers who can handle far greater amounts of raw power than them, no attempts to see if the Aiel know how to Travel - none of it.). None of them, as the Aes Sedai have demonstrated, can keep farmland fertile in the middle of a drought. They're soldiers, and damn good at that, but useless for most anything else. No commercial applications.
