I dunno if they've been mentioned, but....

War of the Worlds. For those of you that like cheesy old movies as much as I do.

Spaceballs. For a bit of humor.

And I agree on the 1984 and the Logan's Run. Total Recall scared the living hell out of me as a kid. Clockwork Orange, there is a method to your madness, sir weemadando...

Moon 44 - Cmon, you know you love it.
Well,well-and I thought I was the only one who liked those.
Live and learn :D

To add some of my own (so the post padding isn't blindingly obvious  )

Ganheddo/Gunhed
(Yes, I'm serious. I love that movie)

Star Wars (obviously)

Star Trek II-VI (yes, I even like V. Deal with it)

The Last Starfighter
('One gunstar? Against the whole armada? It's gonna be a slaughter!'
'That's the spirit!'
'No, our slaughter!')

Blade Runner (is there a difference between Spec Ed and Director's Cut?
I only know the latter)

2010

The Abyss (Spec Ed)

Aliens

Spaceballs

Galaxy Quest (especially if you know Trek)

Dark City

Men In Black

The 5th Element

Total Recall

Terminator 1&2

Predator

Soylent Green

Logan's Run

Mad Max 2&3

Gattaca

Independence Day
'Next time I let Superman take charge, just hit me. Real hard.'
'You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues. Lots of issues.'
'No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.'
'Tactically we have multiple objectives. So we need to split into teams.'-'Dibs on the Amazon!'
'Hey, we both have a Martian's phone number on our speed dial. I think I deserve the benefit of the doubt.'
'You know, for a guy with like 50 different kinds of vision, you sure are blind.'

It was just a standard action/horror movie. Nothing special, nothing bad. The only thing really good about it was the hot chicks in skimpy costumes.

I'm not suprised. But really Milla and Michelle were the only too stand outs; every one except the Captain was sort of a non-entity.

I thought that Godzilla vs. The Giant Space Vagina was quite funny. Okay, that's not the true title but I don't remember what it is. And at the end it looks like he is fighting and then giving oral to a Giant Space Vagina.

That would be Godzilla 2000. The creature who opens up like a "Giant Space Vagina" is called Orga.

I thought the film was a little slow in the middle and Orga's design kind of sucked. Otherwise the monster action was pretty good.

Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II is currently the G film I enjoy the most. :D

Couple more that I forgot:

Post by Patrick Degan »

  • The Road Warrior
  • Things To Come —a very good movie from 1936 and the first production to cost more than $1million. Screenplay by H.G. Wells from his novel and starring Raymond Massey, Ralph Richardson, and Cedric Hardwicke. Takes the viewer through a world war, a new Dark Age, and the rise back up to the stars.
All the Universe, or nothing. Which shall it be?

When the recent one was coming out I went and read the book and thought, "Gee I'd really like to see that as a movie." Then I went out and paid money to see the movie. I'd still like to see the book 'The Time Machine' made into a movie.
Writer's Guild 'Ghost in the Machine'/Decepticon 'Devastator'/BOTM 'Space Ape'/Justice League 'The Tick'

It's always the quiet ones.
