Well, something extremely radioactive that would get his attention.

Tried ot once, in vs. Destroyer. His body just had too damn much energy, although it should be said that he had recently absorbed a whole helluva lot of radiation and was overheating.

Evacuate the people, and use the millitary to occupy him while they escape. When they are safe, launch a full scale attack with aircraft.

Rodan's roost has a 'Spy' in the US. He spoiled um. Spoiled um good. Plus, Hiryu (The name of the Mechagodzilla in GodzillaxMechagodzilla) has that weapon in the Japanese version on "Godzilla: destroy All monsters Melee"

We have seen the JSDF attack Godzilla occasionally with guided missiles, I'm talking about emptying every Cruise missile in our inventory at him at the same time the entire U.S. attack helicopter fleet lauches Hellfire missiles from miles away without him seeing any of them. Add to that The entire U.S. Air force, every Naval aircraft that can reach, and continuous artillery bombardment from self-propelled platforms that relocate after every third shot. FAE's are fuel air explosives, I just mentioned them because no one has ever tried them before in my experience.
Question, what is the exact size of Godzilla in his latest incarnation?

Currently, I do not know, But I assume that the newest is the same size as the other 'Millenium' encarnations, 55m. (Kaneko's Godzilla was 60m)

Oh, yes, and long range bombardment has ben tried, only in the Novel "Godzilla Returns", but not to the scale you suggest.

Now that you mention it, a fuel-air bomb might be a good tactic to use on the big guy.

Those Really big penetrators we used in desert storm...(not the BLU-109s, the ones we used on the Air Defense bunker...basically had to use a F-111 to drop them...~4000 pounds) through the eye, Then repeated sorties of heavy bombers at medium altitude, dropping guided weapons and laser-guided bombs...

Other plan: Lure him out of the city, get him to the Nevada nuclear dump (or just empty it near the city), feed him until he melts down again. Then go in and clean up the mess.

Meltdown = China Syndrome. Do you want a hot sphere of radiation. If it hits cool water, Blamo. Not good. and originally, when he overloaded, he was going to EXLODE. Not good at all.

"China Syndrome"? And why would you get a "Blammo" when it hit water (or care? If it's that big a deal, lure him inland....and I was assuming you'd take him someplace uninhabited, precisely because of the rads, which would also help reduce the risk from explosions...)

Basically, if, as he is Melting his way through the earth's crust, he encounters a body of water, the rate of Vaporization of water would cause mazzive expansion and create a huge explosion.

Thermal Expansion, I believe, is the proper term for this. At an extremely high rate, and large amounts of it.

Aside from which, Godzilla does not feed until he's about to die. He wouldn't last very long if he did THAT now would he? However - the event's that caused his meltdown, if duplicated, would be extrodinarily dangerous to reproduce. IE: You'd have environmentalists yelling at you for eons.

I would like to point out that attack on soft-spots like the eyes are prob only temp repreives at best. Both of which posses extreme regeneration and can (at least I know is absolutly true in hesies case) regrenrate organs. Hesie is in-fact the original Godzilla so its already regenerated from total disintragation.

Hell, Showa regrew an Eye, and his regenerative abilities were considerebly less than Heisie's. As for Millenium - Look at how much Orga can regenerate, and you see how good Godzilla's regeneration is (cuz Orga stoll the G-Organizer 1 from godzilla)

Hell Heisei era Goji was able to regenerate so quickly all we got was a little blood spurt when Destroyah cut him in half with the laser horn.

As for Millenium-G... are we talking Millenium or X-Goji?

Millenium withstood bombardment from a next-gen armor piercing missile (how many concrete walls did they show that thing flying through again?)

X-Goji.. well trying to drop a black hole on him didn't work.

I was less thinking about blowing up the eye, and more about blowing THROUGH the eye and into the brain case.

The organ he regenrated was his brain (One of them in any case).
